Bonnie Fields is impacted by the brief images we all come across, impressions that imprint, however momentarily, upon our spirits. These she attempts to capture, however imperfectly, using the Chinese brush techniques she first encountered in her native New York. She hopes to make manifest in her art a glimpse of "... through you the countenance of the world hath been wreathed in smiles...", and to render the evanescent sensual.
